Dr. Lecturer Ferhat Şirin Sökmen has received the title of "Associate Professor" in the field of Macro Economics. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, Rector of our university, presented the gown by a ceremony organized in Senate Hall. Underlining that Şırnak University has made significant contributions to both Şırnak and the region, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan followed as; “especially in the last period, the academic staff of Şırnak University has strengthened. I am proud that Dr. Lecturer Ferhat Şirin Sökmen was awarded the title of associate professor. I congratulate him and wish him continued success."
